FANTASY RIDERS: ROUND 3

The league table after the third round of the Jagger Racing Fantasy Riders 2010 League can be seen above (click image to enlarge). Stuart has taken the lead on 187 points, with Graham on 171 and Darren on 160.

The start of the British Superbike series saw familiar names returning and new names appearing at the top of the timesheets. Tommy Hill recorded his first victory of the season with a determined effort after pursuing former champion Ryuichi Kiyonari right from the start. The battle for the remaining podium spot was hotly contested throughout the race, with James Ellison narrowly getting it on the line.

Race two was also hotly contested but Ellison was strong enough to hold off any attacks and take his first victory of the season. Hill had been tailing Ellison all race long but had to settle for second place and an early lead in the championship. Alastair Seeley proved to be tough opposition throughout both races and he took a deserved third place, his first BSB podium.

Round 4 of the Jagger Racing Fantasy Riders League takes place next weekend as the 2010 MotoGP championship begins under the floodlights at Doha in Qatar and WSB continues at Valencia in Spain. See the Fantasy Riders website for more details.
